Scope of this policy
This policy explains how ZAODA collects and handles personal information when you browse this website, contact us, or submit a request for quotation (RFQ). It applies to website visitors, prospective customers, customer contacts, suppliers, and other business contacts. A separate contract, purchase order, nondisclosure agreement, or customer instruction may add project-specific requirements.
Information Provided
When you submit an RFQ, we collect the contact and project information you provide, including your name, business email, company, optional phone number, requested process, material, quantity, target timing, project requirements and consent record. Project requirements may include your delivery location, surface finish or other details you choose to share. Files you choose to upload may contain CAD models, drawings, specifications, part names, revision data, and other technical or commercial information.
If you contact us by email, phone, or another listed channel, we receive the information contained in that communication. Please send only information that you are authorized to share.
Website and security data
The website uses necessary session and security information to operate forms, protect requests, and preserve limited attribution data. Website analytics is enabled by default. You can stop collection by choosing Necessary Only or unchecking Website Analytics and saving your preferences. While analytics is enabled, we may process a randomly generated visitor identifier, session identifier, pages viewed, page title, visit duration, external referrer, broad country code when supplied by our delivery infrastructure, and conversion events such as starting an RFQ. Network addresses are converted to keyed hashes before they are stored in website analytics records.
Information Use
We use information to respond to inquiries; review manufacturability; prepare and follow up quotations; communicate about a project; protect uploaded files; operate, secure, and improve the website; understand which technical content helps visitors; prevent misuse; maintain business records; and meet contractual or legal obligations. We do not use submitted engineering files to advertise unrelated products.
Information Disclosure
Access is limited to personnel and service providers who need the information for the purposes above. Providers may support hosting, email delivery, secure storage, backups, consent management, malware screening, anti-abuse controls, or other website operations. Information may also be disclosed when required to comply with law, protect rights or security, complete a business transaction with appropriate safeguards, or follow an authorized customer instruction.
ZAODA does not sell personal information and does not use RFQ information for third-party behavioral advertising.
Engineering File Confidentiality
RFQ attachments are stored outside the public web directory. Staff downloads require authentication and a temporary signed link, and file-access events are recorded. Website security controls reduce risk but cannot guarantee absolute security. If a project requires a nondisclosure agreement or special transfer method, state that requirement before sending restricted information.
Retention
Uploaded RFQ files receive a retention date and are scheduled for deletion after that period. Related RFQ, communication, security, access-log, quotation, order, and accounting records may be kept longer where they remain necessary for the business relationship, dispute prevention, contractual requirements, or legal obligations. Backup copies are removed through the backup-retention cycle. Analytics and consent records are retained only for operational reporting, security, and preference management, then deleted or aggregated when no longer needed.
International processing
ZAODA receives inquiries from multiple countries. Information may therefore be processed in a country different from yours by ZAODA or its service providers. We apply access restrictions and contractual or technical safeguards appropriate to the information and service involved.
Privacy Choices & Requests
You can decline optional analytics, reopen the privacy controls where available, clear browser storage, or enable a browser Do Not Track signal. You may also request access to, correction or deletion of, restrictions on the use of, or a copy of information associated with you. The available response depends on your location, our ability to verify the request, and records we must retain.
Children
This business-to-business website is not directed to children, and we do not knowingly request personal information from children.
Contact and changes
For a privacy request, contact ZAODA and identify the email address or RFQ reference involved. We may update this policy when website functions or handling practices change. The date above identifies the current version.
